Private Treatment

welcome to Cramlington Dental CentreWe have a number of private options available the most popular of which is Basic Care. There is also Denplan and Private.

Basic Care

Basic Care is our truly affordable alternative to the NHS. All treatments are priced per item, you pay for what you have done at the going rate but you should note that it covers only basic items of treatment, it doesn't cover cosmetic work and certains types of crowns and dentures. We will discuss these charges with you before commencing treatment and we provide you with a printed Estimate to take away with you so you know exactly what your treatment is going to cost you before it starts. Obviously, it is not always possible to predict exactly what specific items you may need if the treatment is complex or the type of treatment being done alters but we will always explain to you any variations and give you another printed estimate if this happens.

Denplan Care

Denplan is a capitation scheme. Under Denplan, you pay a monthly subscription which covers everything you need to keep your mouth in a healthy condition so when you attend for your checkup, you are not faced with any sudden, large and unexpected bills. There are exceptions to cover in Denplan, mainly things like the surgical removal of wisdom teeth, orthodontics (braces) and the like and you also pay for any laboratory work (at cost price) such as crowns or bridges that you may need. We will give you an estimate of the cost of such items should this happen.

It is essential that you are dentally fit and do not require any further treatment before you can become a Denplan patient so ordinarily, your Denplan assessment would be done at the end of your last course of routine treatment.

Private Care

For those wanting the best of the best, there remains the fully Private option under which you will receive the very best of materials to the highest cosmetic standards. As this covers many possibilities, we generally spend some time planning your treatment, explaining the benefits of better quality materials and how you get the best out of them.
