The Practice

Cramlington Dental CentreThe Practice was started in 1972 by Richard Grant at a time when Cramlington was expanding rapidly. Within a short time, a second dentist was taken on. Demand continued to grow throughout the 70's and beyond until we reached a point when the existing premises could no longer support a large practice and this necessitated a new building which was opened, with considerable fanfare on a sunny September afternoon, by the late Sir Bobby Robson.

Currently, the Practice employs four Associates, Timothy Secker, who is full-time, Rebecca O’Leary, Anu Ravishankar and Louise O’Leary who are all part-time and we have two Hygienists, Emma and Janet.

Our new building, Quarryside House, is located in the car park behind the Plough Inn in the old village of Cramlington and is about three hundred yards North East of the town centre.
